Dino to volcano

We are in our third week of Dino days. Friday is our big Grandparents Day Event. This week we made volcanos out of our old Play do, the students added the secret powder(baking Soda), a little squirt of dish soap, they chose what color lava they wanted and then they added the lava juice(vinegar). The kids loved it. We also made paper plate Dino's. I made a really cute bulletin board with it for our big event. I am also including our menu! Hope you all like it! We had a dinomite time!!

101 Dalmatian days!

Here are some more pictures of our 101 days of school. The students dress up as Dalmatians, they name themselves, and they make their puppy ears.
We spend the day in puppy centers, doing puppy tricks, eating puppy chow, and having puppy races. Check out our Dalmatian unit!

Dino days

Another great week of dinosaurs with our little ones! We did a Dino glyph, sponge painted dinosaurs and made our dinosaur eggs! The kids are so excited to watch their Dino eggs.

Soccer

Today was character day at my daughters soccer game! I am in awe of all the wonderful people in this world who make a choice to come and love my daughter! Being a part of the disabled world has been a journey. There are moments that are very challenging and I am tempted to feel sorry for myself but then there are moments like today when I see the good in others and the joy on the faces of her team as they score a goal! It is days like this that I am proud to be Alexandra's mom!
